This year we have decided to support the Moral Compass Federation and the World Central Kitchen- both locally-based organizations with a global reach. All money raised this month will go to their efforts to help refugees displaced by conflict. MCF is a new organization that has come together to help persecuted Afghans safely make it to the US and resettle them here. WCK is well known for its efforts to provide food in the wake of disasters, and is currently focused on helping Ukrainian refugees in Poland.
