Story

As you may or may not know, Jodie and Alan got married on 1st May 2025, unfortunately instead of being a happy and exciting day it was filled with extreme sadness and heartache. A couple of weeks previously Alan had been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Treatment was not an option because he was deteriorating so quickly. Very shortly after the wedding Alan sadly passed away, leaving Jode and their two sons to face the future without him. With the diagnosis and deterioration being sudden everyone is extremely heartbroken for jodie. Jodie has the biggest kindest heart and doesn’t deserve this heartache! Emma sands and myself Elaine Beattie hope to raise money for jodie and the boys through this awful time. When we spoke to jodie about this she had said she didn’t want money raised but we as her friends think her & the boys deserve this. It definitely wont take the pain away of loosing Alan but could help them in so many other ways. Xx
