Our Fall Production Skywatching Down the Well

A story of faith and belonging, of fate and choice, of freedom and reconciliation.

Skywatching Down the Well is a Chinese play written and directed by Dorothy Guo at UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television, focusing on the story between two generations -- students and teachers -- of a village high school. With the homecoming of the only girl who made it out of the mountains, the unspoken regrets, hopes, and dreams of her youth slowly rise to the surface.

秋季大戏：《井底天空》

走出大山的女青年，留在大山的男青年，驻守村庄的女教师。三个篇章，三个名字，三种人生。这是一个关于初心与归属、命运与选择、自由与和解的故事。

《井底天空》是由TFT戏剧专业学生Dorothy Guo编导的一部原创中文话剧，聚焦一所中国西南地区乡村中学的两代学生和教师之间的故事。当村庄里唯一一个走出大山的女学生衣锦还乡，年少时未曾说出口的遗憾、希望和梦想渐渐浮出水面。
