Help us keep Benji pain free due to disk disease!

Benji woke up Thursday November 22 at 4:00am in unbearable pain and was unable to walk on his back legs. After two different vet visits we have discovered that it’s a disk issue and there is hope, but to further help him we are asking for a little bit of help for vet bills.

Benji is a 8yr old Shih Tzu Maltese, and he is a very good boy.

He has been given medication for the pain and steroids to help relieve the pain of the nerves impacted. He is on strict bed rest in a crate and only gets taken out for potty time (almost every two hours) and cuddles. We are taking him to a amazing local canine pain centre, where he is getting laser therapy treatments and acupuncture.

At home we are also trying red light therapy and stimulation of the right paw to help the sensation come back. As well as continuing vet visits to recheck his condition and manage pain.

We are willing to do everything and anything for Benji, he has been the best dog in the world for the past eight years and he deserves us to be there for him now as he is apart of this family.
