Hey friends ... I'm reaching out to you all because a dear long time friend has suffered a major health event.
Calvin Ellis has always lived for the moment and enjoyed life at his terms. He has always been a fighter and took challenges head on. Now he has suffered a major stroke and is in a fight to get back to where he was and could use your help.
I've known Calvin Ellis since we were around 10 yrs old. Throughout the years we grew to be best of friends although we took different paths. He has always been a dear friend to me and was my best man for my wedding so many years ago. I've always known Calvin to have a huge heart and would help out a friend if he could and which he did many times for me.
Calvin has a long road to recovery and could use any help you could offer. Once he is out of hospital he will need some assistance to get back to self independence again. The prognosis looks good but at the moment we are not sure where he will be in the near future.
I've set a modest goal to help with essentials Calvin may need when he is released. If you cannot send money I'm sure other offers such as frozen per made meals or even offers to drive him around if needed would be greatly appreciated.
