Brandon Lee's Family Fund

Donation protected

On June 4th, after ten days in the Cardiac Care Unit on life support, our dear, beloved, larger-than-life, Brandon took his last breath. True to his loving spirit, he fought hard to come back to his family after suffering a massive heart attack but lost his valiant battle.  God gave him to us for a beautiful 38 years.

Brandon was a son, baby brother, husband, father, uncle, and treasured friend. He was the proudest of his role of being a father. His family and close friends called him “Boo Bop.”  Though large in stature, he was the gentlest of giants. He loved and laughed with abandon, and simultaneously listened with reverie and curiosity. He lit up a room with his enthusiasm and determination to learn new things. He always made people feel heard and special.

His wife, Jessica, his daughter, Tassiana (20), and his sons, Brandon (16) and Nathan (9), and his daughter, Julia (11,) were loved so deeply. He and Jessica raised them on a platform of love, joy, laughter, hard-work, togetherness, encouragement, strength, and possibility. These were the loves of his life. These are his legacy.

Brandon also leaves behind a large family and so many friends. He was close with his mom and dad and enjoyed their views of the world and honored them in how he parented his children. He touched so many people! Oh, how he will be missed.

For the past nine months, he worked with his big brother, Nico. Together they worked, and together they belly-laughed, at once brothers so youthful and grown up. They drove together, ate together, did their jobs extremely well together, and helped everyone…together. It was the best of times.

Brandon’s eyes danced and his smile was infectious. He spent his life loving others and caring for everyone around him. Memories of his love, kindness, exuberance, and joy will be forever etched into all of our hearts. Rest in Peace Boo Bop.

This GoFundMe page has been set up to help Brandon’s wife and children with his funeral arrangements, schooling, medical bills, rent, and financial support as they figure out how to carry on and move forward. Even the smallest donation will help his family.
