My roommate and I are in dire straits. Mid-Late April, he lost his job due to a newly surfaced chronic illness. Im not able to pay our 1,700$ rent on my own. Neither of us had the apropriate savings to cover for this, and we are in desperate need to pay our rent for May so that we don't lose our apartment in June.

We are unable to rely on our families for help any longer due to them either being unsupportive or in economic hardships of their own. I don't make these kinds of posts unless there's no other choice. Please.
