After a long battle with insurance, our sweet girl was denied coverage for her TPLO surgery.

Last month, our dog Cessna slipped on ice and partially tore her CCL. We immediately got her the care she needed and started the recovery process together, only to find out her insurance would not cover it. This surprise put us in a really difficult financial position and has pushed us to seek help from our community.

As difficult as it is to ask for help, there is nothing we wouldn’t do for this dog. She is our everything. She’s our best friend, the best adventure buddy we could ask for, and the best little sister to Doc.

If you’ve met Cessna, you know she’s slow to let new people into her circle. But once she decides you’re her person, you’re hers for life. She loves you with everything she’s got! If you’ve gotten to know us through the internet, I hope you’ve gotten to see her love, bravery, and passion. But most of all, her silliness! Sometimes, her shyness hides her goofy personality, but there’s nothing that can tamp down her love for adventure. This girl lives for her daily hikes, sports, and training. There is nothing we want more than to see her get back to that!
