Cecilia Marquez, 56, passed away on Monday, September 20th 2021.  

 

Cecilia moved from Tucson, Arizona to San Fernando, California in 1978 in search of a better life. During her time in California, she gave birth to her only child Andrew and became a mother for the first time. Cecilia would always say that the birth of her son Andrew was the best moment of her life. She worked endlessly as a payroll accountant to bring up her young son Andrew, enjoying her time with family, friends and maintaining an immaculate home.

 

Cecilia then moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2019 in order to be surrounded by more family. During her time here she spent endless hours with friends and family. She was always a beacon of help and had a passion for caring for others.

 

Cecilia’s nickname was “Cesi” among family and friends. She always dressed beautifully with her hair done in detail and jewelry to complete the great woman and mother she always exemplified.

 

She enjoyed shopping and spending quality time with her son and her dog Gigi. She endearingly called everyone she cared about “Hon.”

 

Cecilia was always a fighter and struggled with medical conditions her whole life but remained strong throughout her life. It never stopped her from being kind or ensuring all were taken care of.

 

Cecilia was a loving and dedicated mother, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her; but her memories will never be forgotten.

 

Her memory lives on through her son Andrew and her precious dog Gigi.
