Cesar Yepez and Family rt28 Semi Accident

September 18, 2023 tragedy struck the Yepez-Casucci family. Cesar was involved in a potentially fatal semi-truck accident on rt28 in the evening hours. Cesar’s truck ended up on the side of the road, turned over and engulfed in flames. Thankfully, due to a few extremely brave and selfless individuals, Cesar is alive but fighting for his life on a ventilator in critical condition. Cesar has been left with 87% of his body in 3rd degree burns and they are currently unsure what the status of his brain, eyes and lungs are. Considering there is still so much unknown regarding what Cesar’s future holds, the family is left in a very vulnerable state.

Cesar has a wife and two small children rooting for him at home. Brianna and their children have always been Cesars world. Even during this life threatening event, his will to live for his children and wife gave him the strength to pull himself from the burning truck. No matter the situation, Cesar always thought about coming home to them. Unfortunately, that was not the case Monday evening. 

Cesar’s road to recovery is still very much up in the air. This unfortunate situation will leave Cesar’s family in extreme financial strain. Brianna is no longer able to work for the time being due to the severity of Cesar’s injuries. Between the long travel to and from Medstar attending to Cesar and being able to keep some consistency for their children, emotionally and financially the Yepez-Casucci family is going to be pushed to their limits. Even though nothing will change the families emotional state, I am hoping to be able to at least help with their financial strain.
