In the early morning of June 29th Rita lost her husband, Cesar, who passed away due to a tragic accident at work. He worked as a bus mechanic for Penske Truck Leasing which serviced the LA County Sheriff’s Department bus fleet at the Men’s Central Jail in Los Angeles. The bus he was working on lost air to the hydraulic system which pinned him underneath the vehicle, ultimately crushing him. He was rapidly rushed to the hospital but was declared dead upon arrival.

Cesar was a loving husband, son and brother with a good heart. He was always helping his friends and family. He would always win the heart of anyone who knew him. His passion was cars and he was fortunate enough to work doing something he loved. He is survived by his wife of three years, his parents and siblings.
