His mom being a single parent could only afford one pair of shoes per year, so he would tie his shoes around his neck and he would walk barefoot. In honor of my father Cesar Agusto Estrella-Florencio, my family and I are collecting slightly used or new sneaker to give to the children of Palmar, Salcedo Dominican Republic. We will be conducting a 3-day Basketball Clinic, handing out school supplies, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other toiletries.
