Well, we could use some help. As it turns out, the problem in my leg is more than torn ligaments. My battle with cancer two years ago left my leg held to gather with metal and cement. The ginormous screw holding my femur together is fractured, is about to break off, and is causing the bones to grind on each other. So, I'm having a hip replacement this week. Coupled with that, Helena had an incorrect surgery performed badly on her foot several years ago that left her in worse condition than it was before, with insurmountable pain, and has to be corrected before she is unable to walk any longer. She is having that surgery in just a few days. It's been rough. Helena had a head on collision couple of months ago that gave her a major concussion that led to memory loss, migraines, brain fog, and imbalance.  So, we could use some help.

Fortunately, as a Special Education Teacher and Paraprofessional, most of our health costs will be covered, However, our out of pocket medical expenses and lost wages are going to end up being $7,000. If you are able to help us get through this crisis, financially, we would be forever grateful.
