Help for Theresa

Hi, my name is Jenny. I am a daughter of Marvin (Butch) and Theresa (Terri) Ruelle. May 28 Butch was admitted to Baycare with pneumonia and sepsis. He spent the week in the hospital having tests and biopsies. On June 2nd he was diagnosed with lung cancer. A very short 15 days later on June 17th he passed away. Our family has been devastated by all of it happening so fast. Shortly after he passed Terri began having some hives. It was believed that this was the response her body was having due to the stress of the passing of her husband. After several weeks, several doctor visits, and many different meds for treatment, her hives continued to spread. At this point she began getting blisters that are incredibly painful. Dermatology took biopsies and sent her to UW Madison for treatment. Biopsy results came back as a very rare autoimmune disease called Bullous Pemphigoid. It was likely triggered by her grief with the hives but enhanced when the broken skin got infected. She has now been in the hospital for 10 days being treated in the burn unit. The result of all of this has devastated the family household. The life insurance policy unfortunately did not fully cover the expenses, the household has lost several forms of income due to Butchs passing and now we are being faced with incredible medical expenses as unfortunately insurance doesn’t cover all of it. We are still struggling through all the things that need to be done after someone passes, we have not even come close to fully grieving my dads death and now we have been struck with another crisis. We come to you humbly asking for help. All proceeds will be used to finish paying the funeral home and pay for the increasing medical expenses.
