Ce's new flute!!

As you all know, I am now a sophomore in high school and in my sixth year of playing the flute. (And second on saxophone!) As time has gone on I have become more and more committed to music and am now looking to major in flute performance. One of my main long-term goals is to someday write a method for people first starting out on the instrument. I am currently using a student flute on extended loan from a family member who no longer plays it. This was definitely a step up from my previous instrument (a beginner), and I am very grateful for it, but if I am going to be taking college auditions and participating in other serious performances in the next couple years, I will need what’s called an entry-professional instrument. This would ideally be handmade or semi-handmade, and, in my private teacher’s words, would allow me to “skyrocket.”
