Hello, my name is Alex Dominguez, and I want to share what happened to me so you can understand why I need your support.

On August 10, I suffered an accident at a water park. After going down a slide, I landed in a way that fractured my C6 and C7 vertebrae. I lost strength and sensation in my body and had to be rescued from the water. It was one of the scariest moments of my life.

I am now in the hospital, and although I can move my arms and legs, the pain is very strong. The doctors told me I need surgery to stabilize my spine with support at C5. After that, I will face months of therapy and rehabilitation.

Because of the accident, I will not be able to work during this entire time. In addition, my sister has reduced her work hours to take care of me, since I need a lot of attention and the hospital is very far from our home. This has made my family’s financial situation even more difficult.

That is why I humbly ask for your help to cover medical expenses, treatment, medications, and transportation.
