UPDATE 2/21/23:
My family and I are looking to get a house after finally getting through the red tape with Section 8, but the upfront move in costs are still too much to bear. We are hoping to crowdfund enough money to cover the deposit and all other move-in costs so that we can finally have a place to call home.
We also got a diagnosis for our vehicle, and the costs associated with those repairs are far out of our reach. This along with our monthly bills that have fallen behind will also be calculated in our total “goal”.

This GoFundMe is to raise funds for Karen Hare and her family to help ease the financial strain that comes from a cervical cancer diagnoses while 32 weeks pregnant. An emergency c-section was done on 11/12/2022 and Anthony Keith was born and has been in the NICU at Sacred Heart in Spokane, WA. Karen has spent the last 3 months going through intense radiotherapy and chemotherapy to try and combat this inoperable cancer. Anything helps get them through life right now, as Karen is the breadwinner and unable to work while undergoing cancer treatment.
From Karen: “We are tremendously grateful for everything we are offered. I hate having to ask for help. I wish this fight wasn’t ours to fight right now. But I am hopeful that this will get better and I will be able to live to see my kids grow up. I have faith that I can beat this.”
