Cerebral Palsy European Championship 2025
Donation protected
Hi my name is Dean Thornton, i play for the Scotland Cerebral Palsy National Football Team. In April 2024, we won the World Championship in Salou. We are currently ranked 16th in the World.
Our next tournament is the European Championship in August which will be hosted at loughborough university from 12-24th of August. Unfortunately due to a lack of funding each player is having to raise £1,500 a total of £27,000 is required to register the team to compete at the tournament. Therefore, we are needing to raise funds.
Im setting myself a challenge to run 100 miles over the course of May. This will be a challenge for myself due to my disability as it affects my muscles. I would be aiming to run over 3mile each day throughout the month to reach 100miles by the 30th of May. I will post each run on social media so people can see my progress. Along with this challenge i will be doing football cards & Bonus Balls also to ensure i make the target of £1,500
I totally understand there is a cost of living crisis happening right now. So any donations would be greatly appreciated. If there is any businesses or people who would like to sponsor me or part sponsor me please get in touch.
Thank you again for your support.
