Clay ca is asking our community for your help and support to get through the Covid-19 crisis.
Our ceramic community has taken a heavy hit, and despite our small size we have provided a wide platform and place for people of all backgrounds and ages to gather together to educate, learn, and create. We think in times like these-community is more important than ever. That we need to be there for one another.
What makes our space so important?
Our community not only brings people together but it has become a platform for education, to some a form of therapy and escapism, to others our space has provided a form of income.

Where are your donations to go?
By you donating to this fund you will help aid us in being able to organize classes, kiln firings, continuing to pay our visiting artists, providing affordable access to the arts, and to provide some form of income to our employees.
To our members: There is a percentage of members who work low income jobs. Due to Covid-19 some are at risk of loosing their homes and being laid off. For many-clay is a form or therapy, it is a medium that eases the mind.
Aside from the Covid-19 epidemic having an effect on our physical health our mental health is also at risk. Because of this we think its important to provide a tactile and visual space for people to feel and hold something they can create. To feel as if there is purpose and meaning.
What our space has to offer:
-Access to classes ranging from beginner to intermediate courses, kiln firings, a front loader, an extruder, a slab roller, pottery wheels, glaze chemistry, and access to some amazing knowledge from our amazing and lovely staff.
If you are unable to donate here are some separate ways you can help support not only us but other small businesses:
-If you can't afford to donate-share this page with someone who you think might be interested in supporting.
-Post about businesses you support, you might be surprised how much help a shout out can do.
-If you need to go grocery shopping-go to your local mart or family owned grocery store.
-Through supporting local businesses you support local jobs and community.

We are eternally grateful for your support. And wish everyone good health, that you are in a safe space, that even though you may be practicing social isolation that you are loved, and know that we are going to make it through this. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
