Hi, I'm Lindsay, and I am here asking for help in saving my mom's four legged soul mate. He is the light and joy of her life, but he is also prone to doing cliche dog things, like eating socks. A few days ago, Jack started acting strange and refused food and water. He then proceeded to throw up several places over the house. On Tuesday, my mom took him to the vet, where they unfortunately discovered a foreign object and lesion in his intestines. The surgery is estimated to cost $6,000 to remove the object and save Jack's life. This is more than a dog--this is family. Jack is 9 and has lived through lots of crazy adventures, including going missing for a week (and needing a dog sniffing expert pup and psychic to find his trail) He eventually made it home safe and sound.
