Hello everyone! I wanted to thank you for visiting this site and considering donating to our annual medical outreach to the town of Falmouth Jamaica.

The Falmouth methodist clinic is a sustainable, longitudinal primary care clinic serving the Parish of Trelawny on the north coast of Jamaica.

The Clinic has been in continual operation since the inaugural mission in 1990. Since that time, hundreds of medical outreach trips have been performed. Numerous medical schools and community Physicians send providers down yearly. The result is longitudinal care, subsidized medical consultations and free medications.

The clinic serves as primary care office for over 5000 patients.

The need in this area for medical care is tremendous. There is no public safety net in Jamaica for medical care. The average patient in Falmouth may earn 27 dollars a week, and unemployment rate is >16%. Our clinic provides much needed low cost medical care to this area.

Currently, the clinic has enough support that patients at the clinic can have ongoing continuity every month during the dry season and every couple months during hurricane season.

Because the Falmouth clinic has been so successful, we are expanding our outreach to the rural areas of Trelawny parish and neighboring St. Ann's parish.

All donations will go directly to costs:

Specifically they will go toward

Purchase of medications including insulin, insulin supplies, blood pressure medications, antibiotics, birth control, nutrition etc.

Point of care lab testing, wound care supplies

Our trip is in January of 2025.

This year I am excited that we are offering, for the first time ever, point of care lab testing. We will offer adult and pediatric care.
