We are Central Florida Rowing, the rowing club at UCF. Established in 1972, CFR has built an extensive legacy of excellence. With a roster of 80+ this year, our growing team has encountered new challenges but we are still striving to bring the heat this year at Head of the Hooch.

In the past few years, we have produced some amazing results as a team, last year bring home some medals for good measure! ;) For 2022, our Women's Novice 4+ took first place and our first ever Women's Varsity 8+ placed 6th overall. In 2021, our Women's Novice 4+ received second place as well. Our 2022 Men's Varsity 8+ finished 5th in their event, and in 2021, the Men's Novice 8+ brought home second place.

Our amazing rowers are looking forward to making big strides this year, and have their sights set on podiums once again. With so many rowers this year, our expenses have increase, and that is where you come in!

Your donation will go towards paying for entry fees, transportation, hotels, and other travel expenses associated with this trip. We always strive to make races affordable for our athletes and your donation helps immensely. Every dollar goes towards bringing as many rowers as we can to these large races!

Any leftover contributions not utilized for Head of the Hooch will help fund team operations, other travel expenses, equipment maintenance, and coaching salaries. The Central Florida Rowing team is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that depends on the hard work and generosity of rowers, family, friends, and alumni to fuel our passions. Every penny will go towards strengthening our program so that we can give back to our community and make our supporters proud.
