This is past week their truck broke down and needs a new clutch which is $2,000+. This truck is essential to get hay and bedding to these horses so they can survive and live comfortably. Then today (January 25,2018) their main SUV broke down with no diagnosis or cost yet but the tow truck alone was a lot of money for them.
Over the the past couple of months Kris, her husband Jim, and their son Doug have been riddled with illnesses and unable to teach lessons to riders which is their main source of income and keeping the horses fed.
The business and the horses are everything to them and to every one who knows them. We would be heart broken if we had to give the horses away for free (this would most likely be a death sentence) and sell the ranch. I basically grew up on the ranch and have learned how to train horses and teach students. It is my second home.
I ask for $6,000.00 to pay for the truck repairs, car repairs, and to help catch them up on other bills they may need desperately paid. Please help these wonderful people keep their livelihood and keep the horses safe, warm, and fed.
