Road to Recovery

This is our loved son, Yuba Sutter's own Michael Roseboro which many of you know as "DJ Mic Rose"

Many of you should already know Michael's background history, his musical talents, radio personality and who he is as a person and how much he means to our community and our family of loved ones. We have all been so blessed to have him in our lives.

After Thanksgiving Michael was rushed to the hospital due to respiratory failure which led him from the ER straight to ICU. After ongoing testing and further bloodwork, the doctors found out that his years of respiratory issues are related to an underlying heart condition. This has suddenly became a severe situation and we almost lost Michael over the weekend. Not only is he battling his life long Asthma respiratory issues, his heart is not doing so well.

An ejection fraction below 40 percent means your heart isn't pumping enough blood and may be failing. Michael's heart currently pumps below 20%. An EF of 20% is about one-third of the normal ejection fraction. This means 80% of the blood stays in the ventricle. The heart is not pumping all the oxygen-rich blood the body needs. The blood that is not ejected from the ventricle can back up into the lungs and cause shortness of breath, which is exactly what has been going on. Michael has been a professional and successful DJ in the music world for over 20 years and has made a career out of his passion. Unfortunately, immediate procedures and lifestyle changes are mandatory in order for his survival. He can no longer jump back to his normal routine back into the scene and will need to follow this ongoing road to getting his health back instead.

His medical bills are piling up and insurance and savings can only cover so much which will restrict him from catching up currently since he will no longer be jumping back into his regular routine again. As we all know, Michael loves his family dearly and both of his parents are sick and ill themselves, so he cannot aide them at this time either. We please ask if we can come together and help out one of Yuba Sutter's favorite hometown heroes with getting him back to being himself and happy again. He has no room for any stress which is definitely zero help to his underlying heart condition and we most definitely do no want to lose our golden child. Please continue to pray for our son and continue sending those powerful positive vibes and energy. Michael Roseboro has a huge loving heart that needs our love and help now.
