If you have ever met the Ruiz family, it means that you were welcomed into their home and made to feel like you’ve known them all your life. You’ve probably sat around the table and enjoyed some amazing food while getting to know the rest of their family. Somehow Cell and Mario will bring out the social butterfly in the most stubborn introvert. They welcome your quirks and act as family should, without ever asking or expecting anything in return.
So…. What do we do when cancer comes knocking? How do we step in and support the family who is usually here for all of us?
The truth is I don’t know. What I do know, is cancer sucks. I know that with every painful milestone stage four cancer throws at the Ruiz family, that it will be followed by a pile of bills that even the best insurance does not fully cover.
Everything helps. If you are not able to donate now, share the link and come back when you can. This is going to be a long journey, we’re in it for the long run.
