WHAT AN AMAZING AFTERNOON FOR HELENS BOOK LAUCH THE HOPE CHEST
Sun was shining, the atmosphere electric & Pete Kavanagh with Mairead O Carroll had the music flowing. The every was one of pure joy & happiness. Who knew a book launch & a cancer diagnosis could bring so much joy!!!
It did! And we can't describe it!

The Moat Writers group was the brainchild of Celine Garvey.
They are a community based creative writing group established in 2019. A diverse group who hail from all parts of Ireland and beyond but are all now living and writing in County Kildare. The group, initially founded by author and writer , Helen O' Leary is now a family of like minded, welcoming, enthusiastic, creative and encouraging people. They collaborate with other local groups, writers, actors and contribute their poetry and reflections regularly to KFM radio, Kildare.
Currently, they are launching a book of short stories, written by Helen O'Leary to support Celine's Cancer Quest. While Helen wrote the stories it is truly a collective project with each member contributing to the launch in their own unique way. "The Hope Chest" will be officially launched on Sunday the 21st of May at 3pm with music and refreshments served.
This unique launch is open to all the people of Naas to attend. It will be light-hearted and fun and the weather promised to be good!

Ive been exhausted yet super motivated to move. The steriods have given me a moon face & I was published! Yes little old me!!!!

Honestly the tiredness is the hardest. I am lucky as I havnt gotten sick, yet, but my child did! Vomiting bug in the house. Even stricter hand sanitising going on. My skin is so thin from sanitising I can feel the letters on my flat screen phone!
Here's to the vomiting bug being gone. We are sick of it. As for sleep, it's hard to sleep cos that's when the doom can set it
But let's see what happens as I head to leaba land xxx

Got my #chemo today & the #zumba event raised over €2700
It was a day of pure joy and the first day I felt like myself in a very long time
It brought great #hope

So far.... it's 10th May 2023
Anyho, 1 week and 3 days in NAAS hospital, plus a3 antibiotics I GOT OUT OF NAAS AT THE END OF APRIL
Larry my Liver Lision has grown. They tried to change my chemo on May 4th but white cells were naughty! So I have been in TALLAGHT since Friday 5th May. Intravenous antibiotics BUT I did get #chemo on May 8th! My birthday gift!
I hope to be out Friday and THIS WEEKEND IS OUR #ZUMBA EVENT
ZC TOP'S 5TH YEAR AS ZC TOP! ZUZA & I are soooooo excited!

They currently believe it stated in The Gallbladder, that can change. Originally, the said Bile Duct....so they still don't know
