Celine was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer in late June 2018. She spent the following year diving deep into her spiritual life and love of her family.
In September of 2019, she was admitted to Cedars Sinai hospital for a procedure and stayed for 3 weeks, over which time her condition rapidly deteriorated.
She made the choice to go home to spend as much time with her family as possible, and On Saturday, October 26th she was transferred to her father's home in San Jose, Ca.
She spent the following week surrounded by her parents and siblings. The following Saturday, she passed away at 10:30 pm in the presence of family.
Celine was incredibly resilient, fiercely independent, and often stubborn. She was an ambitious overachiever that somehow managed to balance that with deep empathy and love of people. She was a huge believer in self-development and an avid lover of animals and children.
She was known for being the sister that will steal your children, deeply connected with her nieces and nephews. She loved playing games with them and taking them out for treats.
She was a coach and a mentor to many, an inspiring friend to have the privilege to know, and a loving and supportive sister and daughter. The void left by her absence will be felt deeply by anyone who knew her.
She is survived by her father Erin, mother Catherine, sisters Therese, Christine and Clare, brothers Nathan, Simon, Adrian and Damien, and 12 nieces and nephews.
