Hi my name is Carla from MS and I am raising funds for my baby girl Celina . 10 days before Christmas this past year my little one took an unexpected turn for the worst. She was living a normal life reaching all her milestones , cooing and bringing happiness to all of us and her little big brother Chase. On 12/15, she suddenly went into cardiac arrest at home and fell lifeless in my arms . No amount of training or knowledge can prepare a mother for such sudden triumph . I started CPR, called 911 & her dad rushed us to the nearest ER as I sat in the back compressing and blowing life back into her - a consistent worry of why, what and how ? Her little brother right next to her in his seat calling her name Celina Celina and wonder why he can’t hear her sweet voice now ? . Celina’s heart , mind and body was affected & each new day will bring it’s own set of challenges but we just want her skies to be all clear again. Custom arm braces, Special Vital monitoring, AED Machine, Custom stroller,Special seating chair & feeding utensils just to name a few. Her brain lacked oxygen for a spurt & resulted in seizures and dysfunction of motor and developmental abilities . In her beautiful 9 month old body , her abilities became that of a newborn again. Being on a breathing machine for 1 week placed several strains on our swallowing muscles and lung capacity. We have to relearn how to sit up on our own, how to safely drink out of a bottle again and use our arms and legs for reaching , speech, continuous tube feedings, 

etc. Lots of extensive therapies weekly and a longer time in diapers and wipes now. Celina will need alot of support as she moves forward with more potential heart hardware needing to be placed into her to monitor her for unsafe arrhythmias that could send her body into a instability. She’s been unable to see all her family at this time because of how her prognosis started and her brother hasn’t seen either of us in a month. As of 5/21/23 our baby girl Celina is back in the ICU. We had a 2nd Cardiac Arrest and we are back on the Ventilator. Prayers and Donations are welcomed . Mommy is here day in and day out- work is impossible. Thank you for your care & support...
