Celina Paige

Celina Paige is an exceptional soul, incredible friend, daughter and mother - not to mention that she is all things vibrant, fun, kind, and hilarious.  She is a fighter and hasn't given up through her struggles in life. She is blessed to have so much support and love from so many people including her friends and family, as she has impacted so many of our lives - and that's probably why you're reading this.

On April 18th 2021, Celina was taken to the ER for difficulty breathing.

Immediately, upon being diagnosed with pneumonia, RSV and an enlarged heart - she was put on a ventilator. 24 hours later, following some complications, she suffered cardiac arrest 3x and had to be put on an ECMO machine to rest her heart.Celina stayed in cardiac ICU for a little over 2 weeks and was then moved to cardiac ICU2 for another 2 weeks where she was able to get off of ventilator support. This was replaced by a trach and she is able to breathe on her own, and she also is being assisted by a feeding tube.

Although Celina has overcome so much and is awake,  an MRI has confirmed that she has suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result of cardiac arrest. At this time, she no functional capabilities and is currently at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA where she is receiving treatment by top chart professionals. This location holds the title of one of the top ten medical centres of its kind in the country.

We all want to see her get better as soon as possible, however the implications of Celina's condition mean that it will be a long recovery, which has incurred, and will continue to incur many medical and rehabilitation expenses, also considering that there are things that she needs now and will need in the future.

She is currently being supported by her mother, Valerie, who has been providing for her in every way possible and being present through it all.  The doctors, Valerie and Celina have been doing everything they can to continue fighting for recovery. Now, I want to invite you to play a part in this miracle by donating and rallying people in our community to do the same.
