Hi. I'm Celeste. A friend passed away unexpectedly, having asked me to take care of her dogs, 2 4-year-old pitties. Our housing situation has become complicated since then.

She had wanted to will her home to me, but we were not able to get that completed before she slipped into a state of unconsciousness. Her prior will (14 years ago) leaves her home to charity.

I work full-time at a public library and cannot access my savings before I retire, which is in about 1.25 years. My spouse was hospitalized for kidney and cardiac issues last spring, and we are basically a one-income family.
