Celebration of the life of Carl Purchase

A group of friends of Carl Purchase is raising money to hold a celebration of his life. Carl was a legendary figure in the rowing world who sadly passed away during lockdown. The easing of restrictions will finally permit a fitting celebration of his life, to be held at the beginning of September 2021.

Carl was such a towering and successful figure on the regatta circuit that it would be a tragedy not to mark the passing of such a legend in the appropriate manner. Any contributions to this end will be received with gratitude and will mean a great deal to all who knew him.
