For most of you who know Melody got to experience a wonderful moment, life, and memory with her. She was the life of the party no matter where she went. Melody will continue to be in spirit and her life will be celebrated because that’s who she was as a person. This has been a tragedy for all of us and she will be dearly missed beyond words or expression. She was a wonderful Daughter, sister, friend and even a stranger who would stop and converse with anyone. She was the mayor in Newark ! Her contagious laughter and hilarious things she would do will be a sound you’ll never forget or a picture that screams beyond a million of words. To our sister Melody you are and will be the greatest thing to us. You’re beautiful features internally and externally will remain deep in our hearts. The pain that we continue to endure has been difficult but we hear you and feel you telling us “ wipe them tears I am good”. We keep redirecting you until this day saying “ no melo you were Amazing”. During this time please help us celebrate Melody as a family. We appreciate everyone who has sent their love and condolences.
