It is with great sadness and heartache that the family of Logan Zaid Jordan Cassidy announces his passing on March 8th, 2022 at the young age of 16. Logan will be lovingly and forever remembered by his mom, Sherry Cassidy, big brother Brayden(18) and his little sister Ily(8). He is survived by his dad, Aziz Ahmed, step siblings, and a huge extended family that continuously showered him with love and celebrated his excitement to spread joy, love, and a heartfelt passion for adventure.  Logan’s grandparents; Glen & Cindy CASSIDY, Jack & Marion OUDMAN and Omar & Fatima AHMED, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins, will feel deeply the absence of every minute we thought we still had with him. Logan lived fully and touched the lives of many; his church family, his pickleball community and his numerous supports are all going to feel this loss deeply. His energy and excitement for finding his true self stretched across his Métis, Irish, and Moroccan heritage. His wild curiosity for the world set his stage; he was our entertainer.  Logan’s giving heart, “LET’S GOOO!” mentality, and genuine spontaneity to DO amazing & BE amazing will leave a lasting joy in the hearts of everyone who he loved. Logan’s mom, Sherry, is now faced with costs no parent should ever have to make. Funeral costs exceed $20k, and she is now off work to provide support to Brayden and Ily and grieve this loss as a family. The funds raised will help with the costs associated with the immediate costs, and any remaining money will assist Sherry in the upcoming weeks. The Cassidy family is so grateful for the continued support and encouragement during this difficult time   Logan’s Celebration of Life is Saturday March 19 at Beulah Alliance Church W 17504 98 a avenue Edmonton T5T5T8 Service at 12pm, internment & fellowship to follow.
