My beautiful mother, Tammy Baker recently lost her battle against alcoholism. She was a loving, caring and beautiful person who put other people before her.

My father found my mother on November 29th, 2016 dead, due to an alcohol related death. We are a low-income family looking to raise 3000-4000 dollars to pay for my mother’s final expenses and memorial service. We don't know exactly what we will be doing with my mother’s ashes, but to the best of our ability we will try to fulfill what she would have wanted. My mother was raised a women of Christian faith, so we have decided we will be having our “Celebration of Life” at a church, because we feel like that is what she would have wanted.

My parents were deeply in love, and my mother’s death is affecting my father profoundly. I am creating this account to help relieve some of my father’s burden in this difficult time. With my mother’s death happening so suddenly, I fear we won’t be able to give my mother the ceremony and the services that she deserves without falling into financial hardship.
