Celebration of Life of Eric Laberis
Donation protected
It is with the heaviest heart that I received a call from the family of my friend Eric. Eric passed away the morning of February 17th.
I have known Eric for the greater part of my life as a friend, my computer tech, my Father's friend, and in the bar a restaurant business when I played in a band many moons ago. People that knew our relationship can just say we loved like brothers and argued like brothers. This is why we are friends.
Eric had a wonderful heart and would give you the shirt off his back when he had nothing to give.
We would text back and forth and talk on the phone when he was not in the office assisting. While we texted back and forth the day before and even early that morning, I did not pick up his call that morning at 2:59 a.m. I am sorry Eric.....
Eric was more than my IT person, he was my friend....you are already missed, I love you and know you are in a better place.
Eric's father is retired from the Navy and Eric was an avid veteran supporter who always assisted me with volunteer work for the Veterans Council Committee.
I know that there are little to no funds for his final arrangements, so I have started this GoFundMe to assist his family. I hope that many of my friends who know Eric and/or know Eric through me or my office, will assist. Any amount is greatly appreciated and we thank you in advance. Any additional funds received will be donated to the Semper Fidelis Society of Jacksonville to be put towards the Korean War monument.
