Celebration of Life (Maxwell Xiong)

Donation protected

It is with heavy hearts that we share with all of our friends and family the passing of Maxwell Xiong on June 17, 2021. Max was a wonderful son, brother, nephew, grandson and true friend to many. He had a heart of gold and gave the most genuine hugs. He was a bright young man who loved technology and robotics and accomplished building his own computers from scratch. He had future plans of serving in the U.S. armed forces and took part in North High School NJROTC Air Force Cadet program. He also enjoyed jiu-jitsu and muay thai, a sport he learned alongside his father. Maxwell is survived by his father (Kou), mother (Melinda) and sister (Krystal). His sweet personality and humblenes will forever be missed deeply by us all.

Behind it all, Max was enduring a mental illness no one knew or saw. The pain he hid will forever remain and haunt us with a multitude of unanswered questions. Depression is an illness that is invisible that can lead to suicide. Depression hinders more people than you think on a day-to-day basis. This devastating tragedy ripples across our society and we want to bring awareness to the suicide epidemic. If you are feeling alone or have had suicidal thoughts, know that you ARE NOT ALONE and that there is a way out. There are resources available for you. If you know someone, or have had thoughts of ending your life, please seek help immediately. You can call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 24/7 at [phone redacted]. Know that help is available.

Please join us for a memorial service honoring Maxwell's life on Saturday, July 17th at 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Bradshaw Funeral and Cremation Services and Celebration of Life Center at 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear Lake, MN 55127 followed by interment at Roselawn Cometary on 803 Larpenteur Ave. W., Roseville, MN 55113.

We understand there may be many unable to attend Maxwell's Celebration of Life but would like to contribute. We have started a fund for those who are unable to attend his funeral that would like to donate to help his loved ones with funeral expenses. Any support you provide is greatly appreciated. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

In regards,

Andrew Xiong
