Traci was a witty, very talkative, and pet-loving woman who was strong, independent, and had a heart full of love for animals. She especially adored her dog, Switch, who passed away two years ago, and she was known as the cat lady in our neighborhood. Traci took care of all the stray cats, feeding them daily—sometimes making sure the cats and her dog ate better than she did. She was so caring and loving, and she helped raise me as her own daughter, creating a very tight bond between us. Our family is small, but Traci was loved by so many friends and family members for her kindness and generosity.

Her passing was very sudden, and we are still unclear as to how she died. Traci had some serious health conditions but would not go to the doctor or take care of herself the way she cared for others. I do not have savings to cover the costs, but I want to honor her memory with a beautiful celebration of life in the summertime, around her birthday on July 2nd. It’s important to me to give her the farewell she deserves, surrounded by those who loved her.

The funds raised will help cover the venue, food, flowers, and any other expenses needed to celebrate Traci’s life. I also want to get her a beautiful urn, as she made it very clear throughout her life that she wished to be cremated. I want everyone to know how loved Traci was, and that this was very unexpected. I want to do for her what I know she would do for me, and any support is deeply appreciated.
