Rusty was a friend to so many people from all walks of life. He would bend over backwards for his friends, always showing loyalty, humor, and a huge heart. He loved his dog Sheila—actually, he had several dogs over the years, all named Sheila, which always made people smile. Rusty was the father to four amazing kids: Shawn, Jimmy, Ashley, and Russell.

After Rusty passed, his oldest son was so grief-stricken that he couldn't begin to organize a memorial. When I asked if he needed help, he said what would really help is if I could do it for him. I knew how much Rusty meant to his family and friends, so I stepped in to plan a Celebration of Life that would bring everyone together to honor him.

The funds raised will help cover everything needed for the event: food, drinks, porta potties, tables, chairs, canopies, invitations, guest book, thank you cards, and memorial keepsakes. Any money left over will be divided among Rusty's children to support them during this difficult time. Rusty meant so much to so many, and we all want to share in remembering him and helping his family celebrate his life.
