Celebration of Life for Michael Scott Hurd Jr. (Slo-Mo)

Mike was my husband, my best friend. He died in a house fire Tuesday, July 8th, 2025. I am without words.

He is survived by myself, his mother Blythe Erin Byers, brother Matthew Sean Hurd, sisters Jennifer, Melissa, and Tiffany Rhodes, stepfather David Rhodes, and all the friends who loved him.

He lived one heck of a life. He made an impact in so many people's lives. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting him, you would have smiled, laughed, and felt so much joy. He could light up a room and create a positive environment anywhere he went. He loved, was loved, and will never be forgotten.

I am asking for any financial/emotional support I can get right now. As a single-income household now, I am unsure of how I will pull all of this together. But he deserves to be laid to rest, and in the best way possible. He will be celebrated in style, just as he lived his life.
