Celebration of life for Michael Neil Kaplan

 

 

 

 

 

Hi all, my name is Kimber and I'm raising money for my father- in- Laws celebration of life and final expenses and bills that were left behind for my mother-in- law Suzzanne.

 

He passed away on October 16, 2021, in Pahrump Nevada in his home from a Heart Attack. He was 72 years young.

 

A little bit about my Father-In-Law. He was a second Dad to me for over 35 years. He was always a clown and playing tricks on everyone making you laugh and then when he laughed, we laughed more. He Loved Fishing and Hunting and shopping, especially at the grocery store to find deals and we all know he loved his red meat and loved to cook BBQ and Rotisserie his prime Rib and Ribs were always amazing. I would and sure others have called him and asked about how to cook something and get recipes from him. He Loved Fishing and Hunting as well.

 

He was born in Mount Vernon, New York on March 18,1949. He married Suzzanne in Lake Taheo, NV on October 12th, 1981 By Rev. Love and was an instant father to her 3 children (Robert, Kimberly, Aurora). He had 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. He was unable to meet and see the two youngest great grandchildren Due to his health. Mom and Dad just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on October 12th, 4 days before he passed. 

 

 

He worked at a Dairy in New York when he was younger with his father.  He moved to Southern California  and worked at Entenmann's Bakery in LA. He moved to Northern California and started work at Folgers coffee in South San Francsico in 1980. That's where Mom and Dad met each other. Then they opened up three preschools (Buri Buri, Crystal Springs and Alta Loma) He also worked for Black Tie Limousine in Pleasanton drove the Dryers Ice Cream shuttle bus for Wine tours and trips to San Francisco. He also worked for Liberty School District in Brentwood, Ca as a bus driver. He was also a driver for the senior community at Rossmore in Walnut Creek, Ca. Last place of employment was Pahrump Valley Transportation in Pahrump Nevada where he worked part time while he was retired.

 

Life will not be the same with him not in it. I know we all will hold onto all the memories we have of him.
