Celebration of Life for Joy Vandehoof

Donation protected
My name is Celeste. I am the granddaughter of Joy Vanderhoof. This is something I never would have thought I would have to do but Before I tell you how you can help let me tell you a little about Joy Vanderhoof. First, a daughter of the most high Jesus Christ, a wife, a daughter, a mother, a grandmother, a sister and a great grandma to a couple dogs ;). Joy was a light to everyone's life. She lived a beautiful life from  her younger years as a beautiful dancer to being a college graduate of MANY degrees.  She then became a mother of 2 incredible women and a wife to a God fearing man.  She has taught and spoke wisdom into MANY peoples lives as well as everything single one of her family members. Her legacy and words have been left with us forever.  I just remember everyday her waking up at least 2 to 3 hours earlier so she could always look her best. She walked with so much confidence and love, you would never know what was going on in her head. Later did we find out that was everything.
We later find out that my grandmother would be diagnosed with a long term disease called Parkinson's disease. This disease was the foundation of many other issues down the road including a heart condition.  As her condition worsened, last year she was omitted to the hospital fighting for her life. Joy gave everything she had for the last 7-8 months. She gave us more time. She gave us the importance of family and what it means to stick together through such a difficult time. Even through this hard time, Joy always figured out how to make you smile and laugh. We know now that she is no longer in pain and with the Lord. She is watching over us knowing she is loved and cared for.  She is our guardian angel.  We would like to remember her beautiful soul but it has been rough trying to keep up with hospital bills, normal bills and my grandmother not really setting up a viable plan.  With understanding that everyone is going through their own situation, We are asking from the bottom of our hearts for help. Anything will help. We are trying to put together a cremation ceremony for my grandmother but as everyone knows they aren't cheap. All of us are a hard working family but just enough is just enough. At this moment we are just asking for a kind heart and an open hand. Whatever is in your heart to give we are grateful and we appreciate it more than you will every know.  Thank you ahead of time. If you cant give, PLEASE PRAY. We need all the prayers for our family through this stage of grief. The only way we  know to get through it is with Jesus in hearts and faith she is with him now.

We love you Joy and miss you very much <3
