Hoopa J was a cherished friend, known for his warmth and the strong connections he built throughout his life in Willow Glen, at ISU, and during his years in the restaurant community. His sudden passing from a heart attack has left a deep void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. We are organizing a celebration of life event on May 30, 2026, to share stories, laughter, and good company.

To make this gathering possible, we are raising funds to cover the costs of the venue, food, and all proceeds will go to Hoopa's 15-year-old son, Maddox. Bringing Maddox to Willow Glen will allow him to be surrounded by his Dad's friends and family, ensuring he experiences our love and support for Hoopa. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us create a meaningful event where we can all remember and celebrate Hoopa's life together.
