Celebration of life for Harriet C. Jones

Donation protected
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We never can fully prepare for such an emotional event for a loved one.
Our mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and aunt has lived here in Santa Cruz for close to 50 years.
She is an active member of the Santa Cruz Missionary Baptist Church and lived in the Circles for over 45 years. In her time, she was a very, very hard worker for her family.
She had her first stroke in 2009 which left her with paralysis on the left side of her body. She has fought to stay as independent as she could.

Today, she is no longer able to be independent as she has suffered a massive stroke on the opposite side of her body, and is now completely paralyzed on both sides of her body. Although she isn’t brain dead, her quality of life will be non existent.

She has so much heart and personality and it is heartbreaking to see her in such a state that is not herself. She was one to keep it real with you.

We as her immediate family are reaching out to friends and family to help support a celebration of life for her as she prepares to transition to her next journey to be with the Lord.

We all can agree upon one thing if nothing else is that “Sister Jones” loved the Lord! She has been a great friend to so many, a mother to so many, always helped where and when she could.
She’s got a heart of gold and shared her wisdom with whomever and wherever she comes in contact with.
Her will to remain happy throughout the last 13 years superseded like no other. This last stroke has gotten the best of her.
She is a positive force to be reckoned with as she is a child of the King.
If you see fit and feel it in your heart to support her in her Celebration of life, do so.
We thank you for taking the time to read about her, we thank you for taking the time to know her, we thank you for taking time with her when you did. We all will come to the day when life on earth is no more.
The Jones family would like to thank each and everyone who gave, had the heart to give but could not.
As Harriet C. Jones would say, “Its all good, God Bless you.”
2Corinthians 5:8
“But we are confident, and have a good will to be absent rather from the body and to be present with the Lord.”
