Mum lost her battle to blood cancer recently and as we continue to travel through the emotional roller coaster and start to reflect how life will look like without her here, I take the time to be forever grateful for the support mum received from John Flynn Hospital and the cancer support team.

Mums final wishes was to be able to thank them for the past 2 1/2 years and we would love the opportunity to give back. As mums “Celebration of life” draws near on the 22nd March, I would like to ask instead of showing your love and support with flowers and gifts, you could offer a small donation to this fund so we can fulfil mums wishes and give back to others whom are currently on the their journey. The cancer centre has many donated items throughout that are in honour of the beautiful people that have passed over the years and she would love for the same. Based on the total funds raised, this will obviously depend on what this looks like but whether it be a picture or a fridge in a room with a plaque with mums name on it, I couldn’t think of better way to celebrate mum.

I will keep you all updated with the progress and final photos in the coming months.

Thankyou again for all your love and support for mum and the family and I hope to see you at her memorial, if not I know you will be celebrating with a glass of processco and dancing on the tables like mum will be doing.
