Celebration of Life for DJ Tony C
On September 17, 2026, we lost our friend Anthony Philip Curinga, known to so many of us as DJ Tony C. Mr. Big Deal. Twinkie. Girl Dad.
Tony was a big part of the Southern California drum and bass scene. He repped Chronic Candy, Daku Clothing, and Panic 39, worked with Tibor Security, and spent his weekends on the promotion team at the Orion Theater in the early 2000s. He produced Shake Like an Earthquake, made music with Kiddo as Self Destruct, and was part of Go Ventures, the crew led by our recently departed brother, DJ Reza.
We're coming together to give Tony the send-off he deserves: a Celebration of Life on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Fellowship Hall at Morningside Presbyterian Church, 1201 Dorothy Lane, Fullerton, CA 92831.
WHERE THE MONEY GOES
We received a generous donation of $1,500 from the Tibor and Crystal Farkas family toward the event. We're hoping to raise an additional $3,000 or more to cover:
- The venue rental
- Other event costs, such as setup, supplies, food, and drinks
- A run of Tony C memorial t-shirts and some other mementos, which we hope to give away for free if we raise enough
Every dollar raised will go toward the celebration of life. We'll keep every receipt and share a full breakdown after the event.
OUR PROMISE TO YOU
This fundraiser is organized by Elizabeth Barba, a friend of Tony's. We'll keep every receipt and post an update after the event showing exactly how the money was spent. If you have any questions at any time, Message us.
Whether you donate, share this page, or just show up on the 11th with a story about Tony, thank you. He brought so many of us together, and we want to do that one more time for him.
Rest easy, Tony. Give Reza, Tim Fresh, Agez, Dmise, Mitya and Lostboy our love.
