Cody’s family is grieving over the unexpected passing of Cody John Barrett on Feb 26, 2019.  In lieu of flowers or gifts  we ask that you donate to this Gofundme account that we have created to have a Carlsbad City park bench dedicated to Cody, as well as cover any additional costs of the celebration. 

The event will be on Saturday April 27th at 2pm in Heritage Hall at Magee Park, 258 Beech Avenue Carlsbad 92008. 

Cody was born In Oceanside, California and grew up playing baseball, surfing and golfing. He graduated from Carlsbad High School and was on the surf team. Cody’s positive, funny, caring and giving personality will be missed by all who love him
