Celebration of Life for Armando Castillo Sr

Our father, Armando Castillo Sr, passed away yesterday. While in the hospital still trying to recover from the affects of the Covid pneumonia he contracted pneumonia again, and ultimately was too weak to continue to fight. He was very tired, but we believe he missed his beautiful wife, Silvia, and was ready to be reunited with her! Armando was a great man, un gran hombre, that made sure his family never went without! He worked at Coca Cola for 30+ years and would still get off to go do his mechanic jobs. That is how he raised his 5 kids, many grandkids, and great grandkids! He made great friends in work, church, and even at the pottery shop he opened up after he retired. Our father had such an infectious smile that would light up a room, and he would make conversation with anyone and everyone! He enjoyed cooking out and gathering with his family, no special occasion necessary. He would help everyone, even if he didn’t know them. Our dad, Armando, will be greatly missed. We are blessed to had been able to share so many years with him. We will remember him dancing, laughing, and telling jokes like he always did. We’re sure that you all were able to make great memories with him as well, and have one or many great stories about him!
