Dear family and friends of Erik,

I am heartbroken in writing this today. I wanted to let you all know about the passing of Erik Sherman. He suddenly passed away on June 23rd, 2021 and his family and friends cannot be anymore devastated. I created this go fund me page to help Eriks’ family have the most fabulous funeral service in memory of him. The best only for the best. We are needing to raise $2,500 by July 10th, 2021 to be able to cover the service expenses.

Erik was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. I feel like thats how everyone starts something like this , so I’m just going with the trend (we all remember his corniness). Now that I got that out of the way. Lets talk about Erik. Erik was born in Turlock, CA on May 18th, 1990. He was always a happy kid growing up and LOVED baseball. In high school he moved to Woodland, CA where he became Mr.Popular. He helped put on many events at his high school and was literally a ray of sunlight to everyone he passed (teachers included). Fun story, as innocent as we may have seemed in high school, we were 100% not. We had so much fun together we just didn’t get caught! After he graduated he moved up and down California, from Los Angeles to Santa Rosa and just recently landed in Las Vegas, Nevada. Always trying to find himself, who he is, and who he wants to become.

Although he may not have felt like he totally found himself, we all can attest that he did. Erik, a beautiful human being, was, compassionate, loving, fricking hilarious, and creative. I feel like I can hear his laugh, it was so contagious. He graduated from cosmetology and pursued that path in life. He was absolutely amazing at doing hair and loved it so much, he had a passion to make people look beautiful. I also know he was significantly better at makeup than most girlfriends he had but, hey thats what happens when your fabulous! He always put friends an family first, that just shows his character. It was never a dull moment with him and he will be missed by many.

We are all heartbroken and saddened by this loss. He is gone too soon. He was the light of many peoples lives and will continue to be remembered as that. Erik, there are many people who will be grieving your loss for a very long time. We all love you to the moon and back and we will see you again one day, I promise.
