Celebration of life and burial service costs
We are all devastated by Kalifornia’s passing. We want to give Kali the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. I am currently asking for donations, on behalf of my brother, to help cover the costs of the celebration of life and burial services.
It is with great sorrow and heartache that we announce the passing of our beloved Kalifornia Don MacCulloch. Kali passed away on May 9, 2020, at the young age of 16. Kali was born December 20, 2003 to Jacob and August(nee Swain) MacCulloch.
Kali faced many challenges in her life that set her apart from her peers but that never stopped her from making friends and spreading her courageous smile and energy to everyone that came in contact with her. Kalifornia loved to tease her sisters, Shaylyn, Madison, Abbygail and Olivia. They will carry those memories and her beautiful laugh forever. Kali was at her happiest when she was outside, laughing and eating ice cream surrounded by her large family.
She is the perfect example of what strength, courage and love is! She is now free to dance among the angels!
She joins her Grammy Susan Swain and Grampy Donald Swain. She will be greatly missed by her Kokomis and Papa, Connie And Brian MacCulloch. She will also be missed by her Aunts, Uncles and cousins; Troy Swain(Jen(Makayla, Catie, Jaxon)), DJ Swain(April( Charlie, Hunter)),Kevin MacCulloch(Angela(Danika, Ainsley, Tristan, Isabella)), Kristy MacCulloch(Jenny, Micheal), Cassandra MacCulloch (Jason(Alexis, Lyric, William, Jackson, Payton, Tessa, Jaydin, Benjamin, Evelyn)), Keith MacCulloch, Jayce MacCulloch(Mindy(Ezekiel, Jaycee, Desmond)), Adam MacCulloch(Chantel (Hunter, Mason, Hawke)), Blake MacCulloch (Sara(Marionna, Greyson)), Tyson MacCulloch (Megan), Chelsey Griffin(Dave(Dawson) and her extended family in Kingston, Cornwall Ontario and Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Many thanks go out to all of Kalifornia’s aid workers that cared for her throughout the years. Also to the Doctors and nurses that fought hard for Kali.
A funeral will be held at St Patricks church in Lansdowne once restrictions are lifted enough that’ll allow all family and friends to attend.
A GoFundMe page will be set up to help pay for her funeral, in an already troubling time.
