Celebration of Jonathan Brizuela

Hello everyone,
It is with a heavy heart that I have to share that my brother, Jonathan Brizuela, passed away this previous Saturday morning, June 27, 2020, a little after 1AM. He was the passenger in the car when it veered off the road and directly into a tree in Santa Cruz.
Everyone who knew my brother knew him as the happiest guy, always laughing and being annoyingly loud. My brother was the life of the party and socialized with everyone, which is why he came to make so many friends wherever he went.
Growing up, I always looked up to my brother. His ability to talk to and socialize with anyone with ease was his strong suit, but not so much mine. My brother was always working to improve himself, from learning new words from the dictionary on a weekly basis, to teaching me how to work out properly. My brother and I were not that close and drifted apart as we got into our teens. However, about one year ago, we became close again and I started to see him frequently and have him be my best friend. My brother had the biggest heart, even though at times he may not have shown it. Jonathan loved his electronics and phones with a passion, which was a part of his quirky behaviors! I think we need to celebrate Jonathan's life and that is exactly how he would have wanted it. Jonathan was a one of a kind type of guy and it is unlikely that we will ever meet someone who is as unapologetically himself as he was. Jonathan meant the world to me and my family.
For anyone who knew him, he always had sayings that were integral to his character. So I ask of you all to continue his legacy and say it in remembrance of Jonathan! Ya dig?!
My family and I are trying to raise this money to cover some of his funeral service and viewing. Currently, he is still in Santa Cruz and needs to be transported to San Jose, where the service will be. I don't even know what the next steps are, but we are trying to coordinate with a funeral service at this moment so we can set up the viewing. As soon as I get a date for the service I will update this, but it will probably be soon.
